Two of the best toys this Christmas

Two of the best Christmas presents available this year are ‘Elmo Live’ and the ‘Star Wars Clone Trooper Helmet’. These two are going to be in short supply the closer we get to Christmas day. Here is a quick overview of each.

The sesame street character Elmo has been brought to life with the Fisher-Price toy Elmo Live. He can open and close his mouth, sing his favourite songs and tell you stories and jokes. Elmo’s movement is great, for example his head bobs back and forth when he speaks. You can activate him by tickling him or by pressing his nose, tummy, back or foot. He can play games, sit and stand as well as waving his arms and crossing his legs. It really is an amazing toy indeed!

The next toy the kids (and probably the adults too!) are going to be after this Christmas is the Star Wars Clone Trooper Helmet. This was featured in the animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It looks absolutely authentic and has voice changing features. The helmet incorporates a voice modulator microphone so that you can issue commands in a Clone Trooper voice. You can also add radio static and there are five different sayings from the Clone Wars film like “Cover me!” and “All units fire at will”. All in all, great fun.

Both these toys could well be hard to get hold of this Christmas. For more information and the best prices on Elmo Live, click here: Buy Elmo Live or for the Star Wars Clone Trooper Helmet, click here: Clone Helmet

Learning More About Eczema

Are you experiencing really dry skin? Have you been dealing with a lot of skin irritations or unusual rashes? Then you may very well be dealing with some type of eczema. Eczema is some what of an umbrella term that is used in reference to a number of skin related conditions that are known as dermatitis. While there are all kinds of eczema the most common occurrence is atopic dermatitis.

People need to know that they are not the only one that is suffering with whatever form of eczema that they might be suffering from. This skin condition can effect people of all ages although you will find the most cases of eczema tend to occur in infants. The wonderful news is that if you have an infant that is affected by eczema there is a very good chance that they will be completely cured by the time that they are three years old. Unfortunately for many they will be dealing with eczema for the rest of their lives.

Family history plays a big part in the diagnosis and treatment of this irritating skin condition. Just like many allergic conditions like asthma and hay fever, eczema can be tied to a family history. This is why it is important to be well informed about your family history when you are looking to treat your eczema.

As you were informed earlier you are most definitely not on your own of you are suffering from eczema. There are over 25% of children who suffer from this condition and around 3% of adults are affected. You could very well know someone that is suffering from eczema.

Now where does this irritating skin condition begin? The unfortunate thing is that most all doctors are unsure as to what the origin of eczema happens to be. The one thing that they are sure of is that an abnormal immune system is very likely to play a part.

Since there are so many different types of eczema, breakouts can often occur when different substances come in contact with the skin. These substances could include things like soaps and different types of clothing. Any substance that could potentially cause an allergic reaction could trigger breakouts as well. Quick changes in the temperature as well as humidity can also play a factor in the occurrence of eczema.

It is important you understand all of the symptoms that arise such as dry skin that is red and itches. While the overall appearance will vary from person to person, it does not hurt to get any unusual skin patterns checked out. The sooner you identify the problem, the quicker you can begin to treat your eczema. After all, you do not deserve to be suffering from the constant itching and scratching throughout your typical day.
